Student host responsibilities: If you are listed to be student host, please plan to arrive by 11:40 a.m. to greet the students as they come in. Assign one student to a Rotarian so they are spread out at different tables. Try to have different Rotarians each week host students, so the students can meet several people.

RI President Ian Riseley supports giving clubs more flexibility in membership and meetings. "If you want to meet every week, and it suits your club, that's great. FACTOID: One of the largest Rotary wheels rests underwater in the Philippines and was created as an artificial reef to protect and preserve local marine life. 
"Plant A Tree - Adopt a Tree" -Club goal of 100 trees planted has been met!  A big thanks all who contributed to the project.
Giving to the Rotary Foundation - Brian Wright continues to receive great responses from members to reach the contribution goal by June 30.

Topic: Getting to Yes
Negotiation can either build trust and understanding with a positive relationship established at the end, or lead to frustration or dissatisfaction. The authors of the book Getting to Yes explore how the relationship between parties tends to become entangled with the problem.  This philosophy can apply to the workplace and any group dynamic.  Come hear the speaker to learn more!

Program Speaker: Rotarian Greg Jasper Talked about the Rotary Medical Mission to Cambodia. He went with a group of 14 Rotary volunteers, mostly from Vermont and New Hampshire, traveled to Cambodia last January, to provide primary medical and dental care to poor people of the rural Takeo Province.  The group included Clinton Rotarian Greg Jasper, who will share photos and stories from h.is trip, as well as important insights to this type of aid that is provided through Rotary clubs around the world.

May - June 30, 2018 - Giving to the Rotary Foundation - Year-end Rush
 
1. Any contribution by any member between May 1 and June 30, 2018 will be matched with an equal number of Paul Harris points donated by the club.
 
2. For any new member introduced between May 1 and June 30, 2018, the sponsor will receive an additional 100 Paul Harris points.
 
3. Any member that reaches any new stage of Paul Harris Giving between May 1 and June 30, 2018, will receive an additional 100 Paul Harris points.
 
If the total contributions to the Rotary Foundation by the Clinton Rotary Club exceeds the annual goal of $10,000, Rich Klahn will wear the Josh the Otter costume to the first meeting of the new Rotary's year.
